On June 26, Anhui Huasun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as Huasun) held the commissioning ceremony of Phase II factory in Xuancheng, which owns 2GW high-efficiency hetero-junction solar cell and module capacity respectively, officially announcing its micro-crystalline hetero-junction production line in GW level starting mass production. With the full operation of Phase II factory, Huasun has formed 2.7GW of HJT cell and module capacity seperately, ranking as the largested HJT manufacturer in the world, leading HJT technology into Era 2.0.
The ceremony was hosted by the vice mayor of Xuancheng city, Dong Hongming. Kong Xiaohong, secretary of Xuancheng Municipal CPC Committee, delivered a video speech to express his wish to Huasun. Yu Jingbo, member of the Standing Commitee of Xuancheng Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor, attended the ceremony and gave a speech.
On behalf of Xuancheng government, Kong Xiaohong sent warm congratulations to Huasun for its Phase II factory starting smooth running, and hope Huasun could take it as a new beginning to seize the opportunity to speed up the construction of industry chain in solar and energy storage field, to realize the development goal of "ten billion investment and hundred billion industry" as soon as possible.
Yu Jingbo highly affirmed Huasun's achievements in the past two years and praised Huasun for its acceleration in optimizing the strcuture of new energy in Xuancheng and leading industrial transformation and upgrade. The successful operation of Huasun Phase II facrtory will certainly become another brilliant milestone in Xuancheng’s history of new energy industry development.
When Yang Yefeng, director of the standing Committee of Xuancheng People's Congress, announced that the project was officially put into production, leaders and guests on the podium togther pressed the start button.
Huasun Phase II high efficiency hetero-junction project covers an area of 260,000m2, with a total investment of about 2 billion RMB, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of 4 billion RMB after full production. The project started construction in September 2021. Overcoming the impact of various factors such as COVID-19 affection, the project contrauction, equipment moving-in and full production were completed within 10 months, creating an industry miracle.
In his speech, Xu Xiaohua, chairman of Huasun, expressed his heartfelt thanks to Xuancheng Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Economic Development Zone, the project’s contractors, supplier partners for their support and the hard work of all employees. He passionately looked forward to Huasun's two "small goals" in 2022: to achieve the shipment of HJT projects beyond 1GW and become the No.1 HJT exportor in the globe! To realize the cost of heterojunction module equal to that of PERC module, making it the lowest cost in the world.
Huasun Phase II factory mainly produces 210mm micro-crystalline HJT half-chip solar cells and high-power modules. At the cell stae, the industry-leading single-sided micro-crystalline process was aopted, and 120μm ultra-thin HJT silicon wafers, low silver consumption and ultra-high-precision multi-busbar technology and silver-coated copper paste are introduced to promote the cell efficiency and cost into a new stage via GW-scale production.
The average efficiency of Huasun 210mm micro-crystalline HJT cell has reached 24.73%, with the champion cell efficiency of 25.1%. The highest power output of 132 half-cell module has reached 710W, with the conversion efficiency of 22.9%, all of which are in the TOP tier in the industry.
At the commissioning ceremony, the cooperation signing between Huasun and banks and strategic customers was also held.
Synchronously integrate the R & D and industrialization technology of the three-stage industrial chain of HJT special silicon wafers, cells and modules, simultaneously deploy single-sided micro-crystalline, double-sided micro-crystalline, HBC, copper electroplating, and heterojunction-perovskite tandem cell in reaserach and development, Huasun is accelerating on the road of promoting the efficiency improvement and cost reduction of HJT technology, and facilitating the market application of heterojunction technology.
In the future, Huasun will continue to devote to technological innovation and refined operation, accelerating the formation of multiple advantages in technology, capacity, team, cost, operation, brand and channel, as well as the gathering of industrial chain, building a new highland for the world’s photovoltaic industry in Xuancheng, and making every effort to promote the early realization of the "dual carbon" goal.
