Recently, Hurun Research Institute released the Global Unicorn Index 2023, a ranking of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth at least a billion dollars and not yet listed on a public exchange. Huasun Energy entered the list for the first time, ranking No. 793, with a company valuation of 10 billion RMB.
As the economic weathervane, unicorn companies are playing more and more significant role in leading the innovation and upgrade of new industrial technology and business model, which have become the backbone of the development of global innovative economy. Hurun Research has been tracking unicorn company since 2017. This year is the fifth release of the list.
The list shows that, by December 31, 2022, there are 1361 unicorn companies in the world, of which 508 are "new unicorns". The average duration of these unicorns’ establishment in the list is 9 years, of which the seven solar companies is 8 years. Less than 3 years after its foundation, Huasun becomes the "youngest" company in the list, as well as the first HJT manufacturer.
Solar power generation is one of the key paths to achieve "carbon neutrality". As the world's largest HJT manufacturer, Huasun will insist on putting efforts in technical innovation, capacity expansion, and market development, to make contributions to the transformation and upgrading of photovoltaic industry worldwide.
