Jimmy Xu was Awarded as Huizhou Business Annual Innovative Figure 2023

Currently, the Huizhou Business Forum at World Manufacturing Conference 2023 took place in Hefei, China. Jimmy Xu, Chairman of Huasun Energy, was invited to attend and was awarded as Huizhou Business Annual Innovative Figure 2023.

As the only representative from the photovoltaic industry on the list, Jimmy Xu boasts a seventeen-year background in photovoltaic semiconductor theory and industrial application. He has consistently pushed the boundaries, setting world efficiency records for various technologies such as heterojunction (HJT), flexible copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS), perovskite, and silicon-based thin-film.

From scientist to entrepreneur, Jimmy Xu has led Huasun to be the first in the industry to achieve gigawatt-level production in amorphous HJT, single-sided microcrystalline HJT, and double-sided microcrystalline HJT technologies. This accomplishment made Huasun as the industry's leading company, successfully propelling HJT to becom the mainstream N-type cell technology.

From his perspective, the photovoltaic industry demands a high concentration of technology, capital, talent and policy support. It's because Huasun is deeply rooted in photovoltaics in Anhui that it has been able to achieve rapid growth and become the world's largest HJT manufacturer. In the field of HJT, Huasun stands as a prominent player, holding a substantial share of approximately 50% in production and shipments.
