During a tour of the Xuancheng HJT intelligent factory, the world's largest heterojunction production base, Xiaohua Xu, Chairman of Huasun Energy, highlighted the popularity of heterojunction cells worldwide. He stated, "Heterojunction cells are highly sought after due to their higher conversion efficiency, increased power generation, lower LCOE, and ability to optimize land use. We have secured substantial orders from customers in over 30 countries and regions and delivered more than 2GW of products worldwide."
Earlier this year, Huasun signed a strategic agreement with Inercom, a renowned EPC company in Bulgaria, to supply 1.5GW of high-efficiency HJT modules for utility-scale solar projects by 2025.
Veselin Zahariev, CFO of Solar Green Energy, the owner of the Apriltsi Village solar park in South Bulgaria, confirmed that the construction of the project began in 2021, utilizing advanced heterojunction technology. The 400MW project, set to be completed by the end of this year, will become the world's largest solar project utilizing heterojunction technology.
"We want the best quality, that's why we choose HJT, choose Huasun," Veselin emphasized, "We believe that maybe in five years, heterojunction is going to be the majority of the production of solar panels in the world. More than 90% of the solar panels are produced in China, where it’s leading the whole change."
Yuliyan Alendarov, Engineer of Inercom spoke highly of the excellent product performance, outstanding delivery speed and professional pre-sales and after-sales service from Huasun, who served as the exclusive module supplier of the project.
Huasun currently boasts a cell and module capacity of 10GW, catering to diverse application scenarios. Xiaohua Xu showcased the G12-132 V-ocean module to the journalist, and said, "We are still exploring new technologies and new application scenarios. This is the world’s first specialized offshore photovoltaic product with enhanced power generation and superior corrosion resistance. Furthermore, Huasun is exploring new application scenarios for vertical installation to optimize land use and contribute to global zero-carbon goals."
As Xinhua News reported, products made in China are continuously exported to all parts of the world. "Mirror arrays" of solar cells are rising one after another in numerous countries and regions, signaling a brighter future for the Made-in-China trend.
